Maha Shivaratri Celebration

The Kailash Cultural and Spiritual Foundation invites devotees and the wider community to participate in the Maha Shivaratri Festival Celebration, a sacred all-night observance dedicated to Lord Shiva. The event will be held on Sunday 15 February 2026, from 4 pm to 6 am, at AICCT, 16–18 Kingsley Close, Rowville, Victoria.

Maha Shivaratri is one of the most significant nights in the Hindu spiritual calendar, symbolising inner awakening, devotion, and spiritual transformation. The program commences at 4 pm and continues through the night with continuous Shiva Linga Abhishekam performed by devotees, accompanied by chanting and devotional bhajans, creating a deeply immersive spiritual atmosphere.

A central highlight of the celebration is the Lord Shiva Pooja and Aarti, conducted across four kalas throughout the night:

  • 1st Kala: 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm
  • 2nd Kala: 8:30 pm – 12:00 am
  • 3rd Kala: 12:00 am – 3:00 am
  • 4th Kala: 3:00 am – 6:00 am

The night concludes with Maha Shivaratri Panchamrut Abhishekam and the serving of prasadam to all attendees.

This is a free event, open to all, and proudly supported by community sponsors. Registration is compulsory and can be completed online at:
